Scope: Supply and Installation of Bespoke Curtains for a Cinema Room
The Challenge
The client wanted bespoke curtains for their cinema room using their own chosen fabric. The challenge was to ensure the curtains provided effective light dimming and sound absorption, while also accommodating the heavy weight of the finished curtains.
The Solution
– Fabric: The client supplied their own fabric.
– Lining: Enigma by Edmund Bell, a textured dimout fabric with a dense weave that diffuses up to 99.9% of the light. Additionally, it offers acoustic sound absorption and meets UK and international flame-retardant standards.
– Track: Installed a Silent Gliss 6970 track, designed to support the weight of heavy curtains and ensure smooth gliding.
The combination of the client’s chosen fabric and the Enigma lining resulted in a high-performance, luxurious solution for the cinema room.
The Results
The bespoke curtains enhanced the cinema room’s functionality by providing excellent light control and sound absorption. The Silent Gliss 6970 track ensured effortless operation, despite the curtains’ substantial weight. The room now has the perfect blend of comfort, style, and performance for an optimal cinema experience.
